Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn spoke about the news linking the German giant to Premier League duo Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United star, and Harry Kane, the top scorer of Tottenham.

Speculation increased about the Bavarian club contracting a new striker this summer, especially after the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

And during statements to the newspaper “Bild”, Kahn said: “Harry Kane has a contract with Tottenham, and he is a great striker for sure, but it remains a dream for the future.”

And he added: “Now let’s see if we can build a strong squad for the new season, to see what happens.”

When asked about the possibility of signing Ronaldo, he replied: “I love Cristiano and everyone knows that he is a great player, and I am not sure if he will become a player for Bayern and the Bundesliga.”

He concluded: “Such a change may fit with the ideas that we seek to implement here at Bayern Munich, and there has always been a lot of speculation about Ronaldo, Kane and Bayern.”
